Hey there, this is unrelated to the cat, but I read recently that the Tai government is outlawing the durian. How is Indonesia taking the news of the ban?
Wow! I haven't heard anything about a ban (although they are banned from some hotels etc.). But it sounds like some lunatic scientist wants to create a breed of durian that doesn't have spikes and doesn't smell disgusting. Everybody knows a durian that doesn't have spikes and smell disgusting is not a durian. His time would be better spent trying to create a breed of non-corrupt politicians.

Emily was happy to see the latest cat picture! She wouldn't mind if you devoted the entire blog to the cat population of Jakarta.
