Bogor's particular form of tranportation insanity is these public minivans, called angkot, which run fixed routes. They look pretty much like this, except they're bright green (this is actually a picture from Jakarta, which I stole from a great website called Jakarta Daily Photo):
The angkots in Bogor must have political clout or something, because there's a zillion of them and hardly any taxis.
Since the vans are short, you have to bend over and kind of squeeze yourself in. People do their best to make room but there's only so much to go around. When they're crowded, you just grab a little space on the bench and hang on!

I know the red shirted guy is really flexible, but trying to be in the same space as your stuff is quite a trick. The "look" in the picture is quite telling.
